Somehow, this morning, I deleted my story. Along with the majority of my artwork. I'm not sure how I did it, but it's all gone. File recovery didn't turn up anything of value.

I'm still pretty much in shock about the art. I had a few jobs I was working on and now they're gone. All the high resolution versions of everything that I keep around just in case - also gone. I am pretty fucking depressed right now.

Anyway, the story was in the folder with the art for some damn reason. I had about 7,000 words written and I hadn't backed up that folder since July because I'm a stupid idiot. I'm depressed about the art - actually, I don't think I'm even close to comprehending how fucked I am as far as the art. I'm also depressed about the story. The story sucked, but I was pretty proud of what I had so far.

I'm going to try to start over. I don't know if I'll be able to finish at this point, though.
